1. Install Coco on your iPhone or Mac by clicking on the provided link on your iPhone. If you have previously installed Coco, you can replace it with the updated version.
2. Coco can be used in two modes: text mode and voice mode. Start with text mode, where you can type in your questions and receive text responses. Touch the Coco app, and a “yes?” prompt will appear. Enter any non-personal question, avoiding topics like news, weather, or personal details.
3. For the first-time setup, Coco will request permission to create a note, which establishes an anonymous ID to match your request and response. You will also be prompted to grant permission for Coco to access the ChatGPT server to generate a response to your question. Grant all necessary permissions.
4. Coco will now respond to your question, providing an answer based on the ChatGPT AI model. Please note that if you take too long to grant permissions, the request may time out, and you will not receive a response.
Once Coco is set up, you can further enhance your experience. Activate Coco by saying “Hey Coco” or simply “Coco” to initiate voice mode. Coco will respond with a “yes?” to indicate that it is ready to receive your voice-activated question.
